Schedule of Faculty P&T Dossier Development Workshops

These workshops for College of Education and Human Ecology faculty are offered by the College Office of Academic Affairs to support and assist faculty with the Promotion and Tenure process.

General Information Meeting

For untenured faculty, faculty new to OSU and anyone planning to apply for promotion in the next two years. Faculty mentors may also wish to attend to share TIU (Tenure Initiating Unit) perspectives.This program will provide a broad overview of the most current university guidelines, how to track accomplishments, faculty expectations and a general introduction to what goes where in the dossier.

Writing Workshop

For anyone planning to apply for tenure, promotion or 4th year review in 2008-2009

This workshop offers details of what goes where in the dossier and how to present documentation of your accomplishments. Bring your draft vita and your questions.

Gearing Up To Apply For Full Professor

Associate Professors who are thinking about applying need to start early in tracking accomplishments. This session updates you on current guidelines, expectations and the process that is followed. A panel including faculty, Vice Provost Carole Anderson and Interim Dean Sandy Stroot will share their perspectives.
