Technology Support

When EHE faculty, staff, or GAs experience problems with their EHE computer or equipment in an EHE classroom or lab, contacting the EHE Service Desk should be the first step in addressing the problem. If you don't have an EHE username and password, please contact the EHE Service Desk at servicedesk@ehe.osu.edu or 247-8324 (7-TECH).

Services Offered

  • Service desk (phone, e-mail, www) incident reporting & tracking
  • Technical support for Windows XP & Mac OS X operating systems
  • EHE printers
  • PDA/Smartphones, Microsoft Activesync
  • Desktop software Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Provide anti-Malware, anti-spamware, VPN client, and eReports/Hyperion client installs

The Office of Technology and Enhanced Learning has a number of resources for solving your technology issues. The OTEL Help Files can help guide you through common technology issues in the college or as an easy to look up reference for how to configure equipment so that it will work with EHE systems.
