• Read Across America Volunteers Needed
  Show your Buckeye pride and support Ohio's youth! The College of Education and Human Ecology Alumni Society is teaming up with the Arts and Sciences Alumni Society to support the South-Western City and Upper Arlington School Districts by participating in the Read Across America celebration.

• 2012 3 Point Schott
  Join fellow Education and Human Ecology for the 2012 Three Point Schott - Men's Hockey, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball with pregame tailgates.

• Nominate Outstanding EHE Alumni
  Education and Human Ecology alumni significantly benefit both society and our university, advancing the common good and inspiring others to address challenges with insight and creativity. To celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni, we need your help!

• 2011 Anderson Award Honors Two EHE Alumni
  Former Dean Don Anderson, his wife Gail Anderson, family and friends created this award during his lifetime to recognize public K-12 school professionals for outstanding contributions to education.

• Admiration and Respect
  Two 2011 Hall of Fame inductees and seven alumni award recipients enrich lives from Maine to Malaysia.

• EHE Alumni Society 1st Annual 5K Race/Walk
  Join the College of Education and Human Ecology Alumni Society on June 5, 2011 for its 1st Annual 5K Race/Walk.

• Mentors make the difference
  Krystle Fritsch Nemo won a top award from the Ohio Council of Teachers of Language Arts. She thanks a few of her many EHE mentors for guiding her toward success.

• Buckeyes Tried and True
  More than 600 EHE alumni and guests had fun at the EHE fall tailgate, held September 11. See photos from the event.

• Alumni Association picks Doll as outstanding leader
  As president of the EHE Alumni Society Board of Governors, Kevin Doll will be honored with the 2010 Outstanding Alumni Society Leader Award by The Ohio State University Alumni Association.

• A shady spot
  Students of Kathleen Romstedt will be able to remember her service to them as program manager for the MEd program in foreign and second language education as she retires, thanks to their donation of a bench in her honor.

• More than a reunion
  Education and Human Ecology alumni came together recently to celebrate Professor Patti Lather's lifetime award from the American Educational Research Association.

• College selects six as Hall of Fame inductees
  Honorees -- five of them alumni -- have outstanding careers in public health, physical activity policy and education, wildlife conservation, home economics education, and education assessment.

• Alumni association fetes 4 grads
  The Ohio State Alumni Association honors EHE alumni Velma Vizedom Everhart, Terina Joann Matthews, Jacqueline Nwando Olayiwola, and Mac A. Stewart.

• Inspiring rural teaching
  Language arts teacher Judy Ellsesser-Painter (BS '76) tells the College Board that she would choose education today "in a heartbeat."
