Who Are We?
Nearly 50 Ohio State alumni societies allow members to serve the university based on their individual interests and experiences. The primary goal of the EHE Alumni Society is to promote the advancement of The College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University through facilitating communication, fostering loyalty, promoting fellowship, and encouraging philanthropy among and between members, alumni, faculty and staff, students, and friends of the college.
Purpose of an Alumni Society
- To promote the interests and welfare of The Ohio State University, the College of Education and Human Ecology, and The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc.
- To provide a direct link of communication between University, College, and its alumni
- To enhance University’s and College’s presence in the community
- To provide social and educational opportunities for Ohio State alumni
- To encourage varied alumni activities in the community
- To enhance scholarships for current students
- To recruit students based on the direct connection with their constituency
- To engage in active service projects within the community
