How do you view yourself?

The following questions are just some general ways to assess whether or not you may be overly focused on body image issues. If you can answer yes to a large number of the below questions you may want to further explore the topics discussed.

Do you avoid mirrors or any reflections of yourself?

Do you avoid foods?

Do you wish that you can shape your body/looks in any way you want?

Do you exercise at a high intensity level over an hour a day?

Do you worry about gaining weight?

Does your bathroom scale set the tone for your whole day?

Do you use laxatives or diuretics as a way to control your weight?

Do you obsess about some particular body feature?

Do you feel guilty after eating?

Is your worth determined by your appearance?

Do you exercise to justify your eating?
