Internship Information
Family Resource Management
Majors in the the Family Resource Management program can view the FRM Internship Syllabus (pdf file).

Hospitality Management
Hospitality Management internships include a three-level internship at the ViewPoint: HM 350 (pdf file), HM 551 (pdf file), and HM 661 (pdf file). HM 350 class is level one at the ViewPoint Although 551 is also completed at the ViewPoint, under specific circumstances, permit students to complete this at other restaurants (students need to seek approval in advance) . In addition, select students may have the option of completing 551 and 661 with Outback Steakhouse; interested students should discuss this with the professor for the internship.
HM 552 (pdf file) is the hotel internship which can be completed at the Blackwell or another participating hotel (which includes the Marriott Columbus Airport, Marriott Northwest Columbus (Dublin), Holiday Inn Worthington, Westin Great Southern, or Courtyard by Marriott at Easton). Other hotels can also be utilized, although we ask that students seek approval in advance.
HM 570 (pdf file) is the full-time paid internship that is usually completed during the student's final quarter. This generally leads to permanent employment with the host firm.
Textiles and Clothing
Majors in Textiles & Clothing are required to complete at least one internship. Learn more about the requirements on the Internship information page.
