Students

EHE Holmes Scholars Program - This prestigious and scholarly opportunity is awarded to doctoral students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds who pursue careers in education.

College Conversations - Each semester, the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement will sponsor a college-wide conversation about literature that focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Undergraduate Student Diversity Network - Undergraduate students from the college and university come together to build relationships and share ideas about diversity, equity and inclusion and how they relate to education and human ecology.

Graduate Student Diversity Network - Graduate students from the College of Education and Human Ecology who share their graduate studies, research interests, career goals and personal insights centered on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Faculty/Staff

Faculty Fellows Initiative - Each year, faculty are nominated to become fellows to help bring attention to the research and scholarship of pre-tenure or recently appointed associate faculty members. The fellows strategize on how to promote research and scholarship with the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement and also share their own research related to diversity, equity and inclusion.

EHE Diversity Committees - Each EHE department's diversity committee works in partnership with the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement to determine best practices to recruit diverse students into the college's programs.

College Working Groups - These yearlong working groups are composed of EHE faculty and staff working together to address the pressing issues impacting education and human ecology.

College Conversations - Each semester, the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement will sponsor a college-wide conversation about literature that focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Faculty/Staff Conversations - Each month, EHE faculty and staff get together with the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement to discuss topics related to diversity and inclusion in education and human ecology.
