Welcome to the Office of International/Global Affairs!
In keeping with a proud tradition, the Office of International/Global Affairs is dedicated to promoting opportunities for students and faculty to participate in international education, research, and service. As globalization reaches the four corners of the earth, institutions of higher education are compelled to prepare their students and faculty to become competent global citizens to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
The Office of International/Global Affairs in the College of Education and Human Ecology is particularly proud to take a leadership role in international service learning, which is an effective educational method for nurturing intercultural understanding and global citizenship. Many countries such as Kenya, Mexico, Korea, and Costa Rica are becoming our College's host sites for international service learning, and we are looking beyond these countries to lead students and faculty at The Ohio State University to better global understanding.
We invite all students and faculty in the College of Education and Human Ecology to engage in the global efforts to better themselves, communities, and the world.
