Office of Urban Affairs
The Office of Urban Affairs provides opportunities for sustained partnerships with urban school districts and urban students.
(e.g., the five-year federally funded Teacher Quality Enhancement Project, TQE)
- conducting research that impacts urban student achievement
- preparing well-prepared individuals (classroom teachers, school psychologists, school counselors, school nurses, administrators, and other community support personnel)
- working collaboratively with other units of this university to provide research and development initiatives to impact urban schools, families, and communities (e.g., the OSU Kirwin Institute on Race and Ethnicity in America, Office of Minority Affairs, P-12 Initiative, College of Social Work)
