Biographical Information:

Hea-Jin Lee, Assistant Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning, joined the College in October. She teaches classes in Mathematics Education. Lee received her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education (1999) from The Ohio State University. She received her M.Ed. in Mathematics Education (1992) from Korea National University of Education and her B.S. in Math (1988) from Seung-Kyun-Kwan University, Korea. She is interested in teacher education (mathematics pre- and in-service teachers), especially helping teachers develop their reflective thinking and reflective practice. Her education background was in secondary teacher ed., but currently working with elementary and middle school teachers.
