Biographical Information

Mary Lightbody is an Assistant Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning-Newark. Dr. Lightbody received her A.B. from Harvard College, Masters of Education (1992) and Ph.D. in Science, Technology, and Mathematics Education (2004) from the Ohio State University. Her research interests include the professional learning of in-service and pre-service teachers, with a focus on differentiation and the use of technology to support teaching and learning about science concepts that are difficult to teach and/or difficult to learn.
