Research Biography
Prof. Nehm's research has spanned a diverse array of topics within science teaching and learning, although he currently focuses on four areas:
- student and teacher cognition about evolution and the nature of science;
- science assessment and measurement;
- multicultural approaches to teaching science; and
- conceptual change approaches for restructuring mental models of biological phenomena. He is a also a member of the Evolution, Ecology and Organismal biology faculty at OSU.
