American Annals of the Deaf

First published in 1847, the American Annals of the Deaf is the oldest continuously published journal in North America and most widely read English-language journal that focuses on the education and social welfare of d/Deaf and hard of hearing children, adolescents, and adults. The Annals is dedicated to publishing high-quality theoretical and research articles that lead to the betterment of education and related services. The Annals publishes four literary issues per calendar year and one annual reference issue of schools and programs in the United States and Canada.

American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology

The American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology is the premier journal of clinical practice in speech-language pathology. Published quarterly by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, this peer-reviewed publication publishes a range of empirical and theoretical articles concerning such clinical issues as: screening, assessment, and treatment techniques; prevention; professional issues; supervision; and administration. Manuscripts are reviewed by the Editor, one of 12 appointed topical Associate Editors (e.g., fluency disorders, motor-speech disorders), and two or more reviewers with expertise in substantive topics.

Disability Studies Quarterly

Disability Studies Quarterly (DSQ) is the journal of the Society for Disability Studies (SDS). It is a multidisciplinary and international journal of interest to social scientists, scholars in the humanities, disability rights advocates, creative writers, and others concerned with the issues of people with disabilities. It represents the full range of methods, epistemologies, perspectives, and content that the multidisciplinary field of disability studies embraces. DSQ is committed to developing theoretical and practical knowledge about disability and to promoting the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities in society.

Reading Research Quarterly (RRQ) publishes the highest quality research on reading and literacy for and by scholars throughout the world. As such, its primary mission is to foster connections among researchers to build a coherent knowledge base in reading and literacy across geographic and intellectual borders. The emphasis on the highest quality research is not only a tradition since the journal's inception, it also represents the optimism of people everywhere that insights into the human condition and solutions to some of the most intractable problems of our times can be productively addressed through the intellectual endeavors of individuals and communities. RRQ welcomes submission of research-oriented manuscripts that make significant contributions to advancing knowledge and understanding of reading and of literacy, broadly defined. Articles published in RRQ are primarily reports of original, rigorously conducted research employing diverse epistemologies, methodologies, methods, and disciplinary perspectives, and submissions are invited from scholars working both within and outside the traditional arenas of reading and literacy research.
