Application for Admission to Administrative Licensure
The Educational Administration section of the School of Educational Policy and Leadership requires all students wishing to pursue the Administrative Licensure program to complete an application for admission into the program. This is in keeping with guidelines required by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Applications to the Administrative Licensure Program can be completed in conjunction with an application to the Master's degree program or they can be completed in a separate process for those who already have a Master's degrees. Applications are available online or from the Office of Student Services and Graduate Studies (122 Ramseyer Hall, 614-688-4007). If you have any questions about the application process, including the questions about the appropriate application, please call and ask to speak to our Licensure Coordinator at 614-688-4007.
Students cannot apply directly to the Accelerated Licensure Program for Principals or Superintendents. You must be nominated by your District Superintendent. Nomination packets are sent to area Superintendents during Autumn Quarter. If your district is outside of the nominating area please contact the licensure coordinator at 614-688-4007 to request a nomination packet be sent to your superintendent.
