Licensure
PRAXIS II - Registration Information
Test requirements for Ohio are determined by the Ohio Department of Education's Standards in effect at the time you apply for licensure regardless of when you completed the academic requirements. It is important that you obtain current information from the ODE Website regarding specific test requirements at the time you register for Praxis to ensure that you are requesting the correct test(s).
The ODE site has a document about PRAXIS II testing information (pdf) to confirm that you are requesting the correct test(s). Information about the test will be on page 15.
Registration information is available on the Praxis Web site at http://www.ets.org/praxis.
Be sure to have your scores reported directly to the OSU Registrar's Office by indicating the reporting code RA1592 on the registration form or selecting "Ohio State University" in the drop-down menu if you register online. Do not have your scores sent only to the Ohio Department of Education.
Allow approximately 6-8 weeks for the results to be posted to your transcript. The paper copy of your score report is not legally acceptable nor can we obtain your scores from any other source.
If you have additional questions, contact Christie Rhoads, the Licensure Coordinator for the College of Education and Human Ecology, in 172 Arps Hall (614-292-2742).
