Scholarly Interests

My main areas of interest are in psychological and sociological analyses of the structure and influences of college environments on students. I also have a long research interest in the development of graduate and professional school students. I am also the Editor of the Journal of Higher Education, the oldest journal in the world focusing exclusively on higher education.
