Message For Ph.D. Applicants
For those of you applying to a Ph.D. program, it is particularly important for you to review our faculty Web pages. A key factor for you to consider is the compatibility of your research interests and needs with the expertise of our faculty. While visiting faculty Web sites, be sure to look at syllabi and course descriptions for seminars, workshops and other special topic courses when available. Examine their research interests. Review their publications listed on their Web sites. You will want to read some of their articles. If you find something of interest or have any questions about a faculty member's research, do not be afraid to e-mail him or her. Faculty e-mail addresses can be found on individual faculty Web pages or in our e-mail directory.
