Caezilia Loibl

Scholarly Interests

My research provides insights into the economic, social, and psychological mechanisms that underlie saving, investing, and other economic behaviors. I am studying the preferences, choices, and decisions influencing these economic behaviors with a particular emphasis on the consequence of these behaviors on individual and family well-being. My research focuses on two specific consumer behavior issues: the economic-psychological analysis of financial decision making and the economics of external information search in making these decisions.
