Please consider making a donation to OSU's Homeless Youth Fund. Since Autumn 2006, the Human Ecology House through the Department of Human Development and Family Science has hosted a drop-in center for Columbus' homeless youths.

Approximately 15-25 youths between the ages of 14 to 24 years utilize the center each day in order to rest, access shower and laundry facilities, and receive food, clothing and hygiene items. Youth receive assistance from staff and volunteers for obtaining healthcare, employment and other community services. The center is open 9-5, Monday through Friday.

There are two ways to donate to the Homeless Youth Fund (312330):

  1. Give to the Homeless Youth Fund (312330) with a credit card on the Ohio State Online Giving website.
  2. Make checks payable to The Ohio State University Foundation and then mail the check to the OSU Office of University Development, 1480 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, OH 43221. Write the fund name (Homeless Youth Fund) and number (312330) on the memo line.
