Didactic Program in Dietetics Option

Graduation Requirements

A student in Human Ecology, upon completion of the courses and credit hours specified for the program and with a cumulative point-hour ratio of 2.00 or better, will be awarded the appropriate Bachelor of Science degree. To assist a student and advisor in determining progress toward graduation, an annual computerized audit is available to all students on-line.

The total number of credit hours required for graduation in dietetics is 191 hours. Students are required to complete a graduation application two quarters prior to the expected receipt of the degree.

The Graduation Application Deadlines are the following:

Based on the application and the audit, a decision is made as to whether the student will be able to complete all requirements for the degree for the desired quarter. Filing the application on time allows the student at least one quarter to make any adjustments in her/his program, if needed, to allow graduation at the anticipated time.
