Didactic Program in Dietetics Option

Food and Nutrition Forum

Food and Nutrition Forum is a student organizations that promotes professionalism in the area of Dietetics, Nutrition and health care. We are located in the College of Human Ecology at the Ohio State University. The student make-up of FNF is primarily Dietetic or Nutrition majors; Bachelor's and pre-professional candidates; all ranks are welcome.

We meet as a group three times per quarter: Autumn-Spring. Our first meeting is primarily for business, introductions and the "What is to Come." Our last two meetings still consist of business, but focus on a guest speaker who is involved in a career with an emphasis on nutrition/Dietetics. All meetings are informal, and refreshments are provided.

Dues for FNF are $3 quarterly or $8 annually. Money collected from dues and fundraisers is used for FNF activities such as attending the Ohio Dietetic Association meetings, supplies for community service projects, and refreshments for meeting times.

Joining FNF is a great way to meet other students with a similar major-you'll be seeing them in a lot of future classes. You'll get to know some of the faculty in our building, and through new experiences, get some perspectives on what directions you could possibly take upon graduating.

If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Anne Smith at smith.23@osu.edu.
