The Dietetic Internship in the Department of Human Nutrition is a post baccalaureate supervised practice program that qualifies graduates for the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association. Successful completion of the examination qualifies individuals to be licensed as dietitians in Ohio and other states.
The Dietetic Internship Program offers a breadth of knowledge and professional skills required for practice of dietetics and for advancement to leadership roles in the nutrition and dietetics profession. The Dietetic Internship at the Ohio State University is granted Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL 60606-6995.
