Human Nutrition Undergraduate Programs
Human Nutrition Major, Nutrition and Community Health Option
The Nutrition and Community Health option within the Human Nutrition Major is for students planning careers related to wellness, health education, or exercise science. In addition to the core nutrition course requirements, students have flexibility in choosing classes focused on exercise physiology, health counseling, agricultural education, or health program planning and evaluation. As a part of the program curriculum, students have the option of completing an Exercise Science minor. This major is a good choice for students interested in graduate programs in public health, physical therapy, or other allied health professions.
