Each year, The Ohio State University Alumni Association honors deserving alumni. This year, we are proud that three of the awardees graduated from the College of Education and Human Ecology. They are Joy Garrison Cauffman, Robert M. Duncan and Sarah M. Smith.
Cauffman, Duncan, and Smith were feted at a dazzling ceremony on Sept. 26, 2008, in Columbus. President E. Gordon Gee was on hand, as was Archie Griffin, president and CEO of the alumni association.

The Alumni Citizenship Award was rededicated this year in the name of Robert M. Duncan, '48, in honor of the jurist's significant voluntary service to humanity beyond the call of business and professional duty.
Dedicated athletics volunteer Sarah M.
