College event to explore diversity issues

The 14th Annual Diversity Forum and Graduate Student Research Fair will be held Friday, May 1, from 8 a.m.-noon in Ramseyer Hall (RA).

The student presentations from 9:00-11:00 a.m. will be followed by the Diversity Forum from 11:00 a.m.-noon. A panel of faculty will discuss "What Is the Role of Diversity in Research? Responses from a 21st-Century College of Education and Human Ecology."

The panelists are Dr. David Bloome, professor of teaching and learning; Dr. Michael Glassman, associate professor of human development and family science; Dr. Hugo Melgar-Quinonez, assistant professor of human nutrition; and Dr. Jan Nespor, professor of educational policy and leadership. Dr. Cynthia Dillard, professor of teaching and learning, will moderate the discussion.
