Alumni Association picks Doll as outstanding leader

It takes a strong team to guide the transitions that come when two colleges with long traditions join together. Under the leadership of Kevin M. Doll, the Education and Human Ecology Alumni Society board of governors has taken on that task.
Doll is being recognized on Oct. 8 with the 2010 Outstanding Alumni Society Leader award from The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
The EHE governing board is composed of 25 alumni and seven faculty representatives. Its members serve 91,000 alumni and promote the advancement of the College of Education and Human Ecology, its students, faculty, alumni and community.
"As proud as I am to receive this award, it's more a reflection of the hard work, dedication and accomplishments of the entire board," Doll said. "Between the 2007 merger of the colleges of Education and Human Ecology and the number of valuable initiatives we've undertaken so far, I'm extremely gratified with all we've accomplished as a team and pleased that the Alumni Association has chosen to recognize those efforts."
A 2001 graduate of the college, Doll holds both bachelor and master's degrees in family financial management. He is a certified financial planner with the Hamilton Capital Management Inc. wealth management team, providing customized financial and investment management solutions to clients. A Strongsville, Ohio, native, he resides in northwest Columbus.
