When the American Educational Research Association Division B, Curriculum Studies, honored Patti Lather with the Lifetime Achievement Award, a dozen alumni, current students and colleagues joined in the celebration.
Lather, a leader in feminist research, is professor of cultural foundations, technology and qualitative inquiry. She was honored in May 2010 at the AERA annual conference in Denver, Colorado.
Congratulating her were alumni and former advisees from all over the United States, as well as Canada and Taiwan.
