Students mark Romstedt's retirement

The old bench in front of Arps Hall was battered by years of rain, sun and wind. Then suddenly, it was brand new, with a special inscription, "In appreciation of Dr. Kathleen A. Romstedt from her students."
After retiring as clinical educator and program manager for the MEd program in foreign and second language education in September 2010, Romstedt will live a life of adventure on a sailboat. Now those of us she leaves behind in Columbus can sit on the bench under the shady maple and think of her years as teacher educator in the School of Teaching and Learning.
