The College of Education and Human Ecology Alumni Society held its inaugural 5K Race/Walk on June 5, 2011. The race started and ended on the south side of Ohio Stadium.

All participants were electronically timed with the Columbus Running Company disposable bib system. Some took advantage of the fitness challenge while others simply wanted to get outside for a morning walk on the Ohio State Campus.

Proceeds from the race benefit an initiative to make The Ohio State University the healthiest campus in the nation.
