Please register/apply for entry into the APE Endorsement program by
completing the APE
Application. This will need to be submitted before you begin taking
relevant coursework.

Procedures for Applying for the APE Endorsement from the State of Ohio after completion of the above courses:

initial Ohio License Form from the Ohio Department of Education website: |

Obtain a copy of
your most recent transcripts identifying the course work you took towards the APE endorsement. |

A copy of your
K-12 Teacher Certification from the State of Ohio *Copies are fine, no originals are needed. |

Make a check out
to: "Ohio, TEC" in the amount of $10. |

Once the materials are reviewed, Dr. Porretta will submit a letter to the College of Education and Human Ecology indicating you have successfully completed all requirements for the APE Endorsement. All your information will then be forwarded to Christi Rhoads (rhoads.1@osu.edu) for processing. The College office will then forward all appropriate documentation to the State of Ohio for issuance of the APE Endorsement.
