Physical Education Programs

• The M.A. Program in Physical Education provides graduate level preparation to a variety of professionals, who provide educational leadership in schools, private enterprise, and other institutions.
• The Ph.D. in Physical Education prepares graduates to become members of the professoriate and enables them to 1) prepare physical education teachers and adapted physical education specialists, 2) conduct and disseminate educational research, and 3) provide leadership in sport pedagogy.
• B.S. Ed., Sport and Leisure Studies - Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) prepares students to become physical education teachers in secondary schools and offers students the opportunity to earn an Ohio teaching license for Physical Education in grades kindergarten-12.
