34th Annual APE Workshop

The School of Physical Activity and Educational Services in conjunction with Sportime International announces the 34th Annual Adapted Physical Education Workshop.

  • For: Adapted Physical Educators, General Physical Educators, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Recreation Therapists

The workshop will focus on participation. Please come dressed for activity. Bring questions and experiences to share!

Topics will include, among others – Advocacy for school-based sport and intramural programs, activities such as bocce and goalball, using Wii devices (exergamming), equipment modifications, equally effective physical education and recreation, and Kennesaw State University's inclusive outdoor education program.

Cost: $50 before March 11th, $60 on site. Make checks payable to "Ohio State University." Purchase orders accepted.

CEU Credit Provided for: Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, State of Ohio Developmental Disabilities Personnel (Public School Teachers – check with your professional development committee for approval.)
