Physical Education Faculty

Ohio State's Physical Education program is home to a world-class community of faculty who combine scholarship and professional experience in Physical Education Pedagogy, Adapted Physical Education and Physical Education Teacher Education, with a strong commitment to students and teaching.

Our learning environment is an interactive one, where faculty share information, engage in dialogue, encourage differences of opinions and debate ideas—amongst themselves and in the classroom.

At Ohio State, faculty engage in real-world, problem-focused research. Our research grows directly out of our active intellectual culture. Professors and students often work together as research partners and share authorship of professional papers. One of the most important values our about our faculty is their accessibility outside of the classroom. Our mentoring of students occurs in both formal and informal ways. Faculty advisers work closely with students to create academic programs that meet individual aspirations.
