This is an opportunity for students to receive an introduction to all aspects of exercise equipment sales operations (corporate and retail store functions) including skill development in areas of communication, marketing promotion, time management and intervention.  Interns will enhance their skills by assisting in individual and corporate exercise equipment planning; follow-up; generating sales leads; producing marketing materials; assisting in sales promotions; compiling statistics and integrating computer data for reports.

Internships to qualified undergrad and graduate students.  The 37,000 sq ft. facility offers students experience with aerobic and water exercise leadership, symptom limited maximal testing, multi-phasic screening, exercise prescription, weight training instruction, senior fitness, stress management, nutrition education, back injury prevention, and wellness promotions.

Recipient of the Association for Worksite Health Promotion(AWHP) 'Business in Industry Award' is seeking a highly motivated interns trained in the areas of exercise science, health promotion, recreation and aquatics.  Selected interns will work in 100,000 sq ft. facility nested in a 146 acre park located in Racine, WI.  The comprehensive approach to well being at SC Wax includes fitness, health promotion, work life, recreation and aquatic programming for employees, retirees and their families.

A fitness and tennis club, offers internships to qualified undergrad and grad students in exercise science/fitness management.  Providing interns with hands on experience in performing graded exercise tests, fitness evaluations, health risk appraisals, exercise orientations and exercise leadership.  Interns wishing to be certified by the ACSM as Health and Fitness Instructors may enroll in the intensive preparation course conducted by resident exercise physiologist.

Offering internships in fitness and recreation.  Students will be mentored by a college instructor trained in Exercise Physiology and Physical Therapy.  Interns can look forward to involvement in the following:  exercise testing, leadership, orientation, teaching physical education classes to home schooled children, organizing sports and recreation activities for adults and children and  summer camp counseling.
