Medical Group of Fort Wayne had a Heart Center Fitness Club that provides a medically based facility that is dedicated to preventing heart disease and promoting overall wellness. Programs available include cardiac rehabilitation, aerobics, strength and cardiovascular training, health assessments, and wellness education programs. Includes Phase I and Cardiology Patient Education at the Oakwood Hospital Medical Center. We have a very progressive and aggressive inpatient program working with patients day #1 post-event. Phase II and Phase III rehab programs are housed at the Oakwood Cardiac Rehab Center. We offer eleven different Phase II classes and five Phase III classes. We also house a Pulmonary Rehabilitation program. We offer weekly health-oriented lectures, support groups, and an onsite registered dietician.
