Introduction to Flyfishing is intended for the student that has little or no flyfishing experience.  Students will receive hands-on instruction on  all the basics of the sport including equipment, casting and the art of flytying.  Weather permitting, the course will include two fishing trips on local waters.

Cost: approximately $120.00

Includes: 4 mandatory classroom sessions (12 hours); limited amounts of fishing equipment (rods, reels, lines, leaders) will be available for student use.  Students will receive a book, flybox and assortment of flies to start them on their way.

Student Must Provide: food; proper attire for weather conditions; etc.  Students must have a valid Ohio Fishing License ($19 for annual resident license, $11 for single-day non-resident license, $40 for annual non-resident license).
