Sport Programs in PAES
A part of the School of Physical Activity & Educational Services, Sport Management provides programs of study that will lead to master's and doctoral degrees. Established in 1978, more than 800 alumni now hold prestigious positions in all segments of the industry and serve as athletic directors for universities, general managers of professional sport franchises, and executive directors of public and private sport, leisure, and fitness organizations. Sport Management doctoral degree recipients occupy faculty positions at 26 colleges in the U.S. and Canada.
The Sport Management Association is an official Ohio State student organization, which is comprised of all the students in the Sport & Exercise Management Masters Program.
