The Ohio Department of Education sets parameters for each teacher license program at The Ohio State University. Divisions of ODE also establish guidelines for middle and secondary FCS programs in Ohio. Ohio Teacher Licensure

After meeting all the Ohio State and State of Ohio licensure requirements OSU students will apply for a teacher license. The application is submitted to the professor of students teaching for approval; it is not sent directly to ODE. Be sure to complete the teacher licensure application as directed by the student teaching professor.
