Assessment
Formative Assessments:
General checklists, exit slips, quizzes, peer edit sheets.
Summative Assessments:
- Each newscast is scored using the rubric below from three perspectives (self-assessment, teacher, and authentic audiences identified by the teacher).
- Students in the class will listen to all the newscasts and write one-page papers for each newscast about that issue's impact on careers.
