Formative Assessments:
Monitor students' research and have them report what they are learning, what reliable sources of information they are using and documenting, and how they are organizing it in a manual for the community recreation center. Monitor and give feedback to students regarding their use of the group skills of encouraging and staying on task. In writing have the groups process their use of these skills and set goals for improving.
