Dr. Jane E. Briggs currently teaches a Financial Services secondary career-technical program at Eastland Career Center in Groveport, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Comprehensive Business Education and her Masters Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She received her Ph.D. in Workforce Development & Education from The Ohio State University. In addition to teaching courses at The Ohio State University, Dr. Briggs has also taught business education courses at Wright State University, Bowling Green State University, Ohio University, and Rio Grande University. In her 26 years in public education, Dr. Briggs has presented numerous times on topics of teaching and learning, mentoring, as well as financial education topics such as teaching insurance, personal finance and accounting. She has a history of leadership in professional organizations such as Association for Career and Technical Education, National Business Education Association, Delta Pi Epsilon, and Business Professionals of America. In addition, Dr. Briggs currently the Inter-Professional Task Force for Business Education licensure and serves as the Cooperating Teacher at Eastland Career Center for The Ohio State University's Integrated Business Education licensure program.
