Ronald Jacobs is professor of Workforce Development and Education. His research and scholarship broadly focuses on issues related to human competence and performance improvement in the human resource development literature. He has conducted research and development projects in company settings both nationally and internationally. His work on structured on-the-job training in particular has focused on evaluating the financial and non-financial impacts of this training approach. He is currently engaged in a large-scale research and development project focusing on the cross-cultural aspects of S-OJT. Jacobs.3@osu.edu
