The Faculty International Travel Grant Program exists to strengthen EHE's tenured and tenure-track faculty members' professional development by presenting the results of their research and scholarship at international meetings and conferences. Regular, tenured, and tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply for up to $500; faculty are eligible to receive a grant only once in a two-year period. The Office of Research holds two competitions annually: Spring (application deadline is May 15 for travel between July and December) and Autumn (application deadline is November 15 for travel between January and June).
The College of Education and Human Ecology Office of Research provides travel support on a matching basis to EHE graduate students who present their research at professional meetings. The usual amount of support is $250 for one trip per graduate student per academic year. Graduate students applying for the grant are required to obtain approval from their individual departments on their travel prior to submitting request to the Office of Research for the support. The Office of Research reviews applications three times per year - October 15, January 15, and March 15.
