Academic advising is an intentional educational process that teaches students to understand their curriculum, purpose of higher education, and university processes and procedures. We assist students in clarifying their educational goals and objectives and to create academic plans that are consistent with these goals, objectives, and the students' degree requirements.

Our goal Is to assist students in maximizing their educational experience from orientation to graduation.

Academic Advising Handbook

The Office of Undergraduate Student Services has created an academic advising handbook to assist and guide students on university and college policies and procedures. All students within the College of Education and Human Ecology should familiarize themselves with the information within this handbook. Inside the handbook, students will find appointment procedures and guidelines, major requirements, scheduling policies and procedures, as well as academic advising resources, just to name a few.
