Pre-Kindergarten Special Needs Endorsement

Teachers who already hold a K-12 intervention specialist or K-5 early childhood teaching license can apply for admission to this endorsement program. Upon completion of this program, students will be endorsed to teach children with special needs in pre-kindergarten settings.

U = Open only to undergraduate students
G = Open only to graduate students

Culminating Practicum

As a culminating experience, students will complete a behavior change project. Students must apply for the practicum during their next to last semester of their studies (contact Educational Studies Student Services at for the application). Once approved, the student will be assigned a faculty advisor, who will supervise the practicum. Students must register for field experience credits (8189) while taking the practicum.
