The Ohio State University Virtual Lab School (VLS) provides online professional development and resources that enable early childhood educators to build their knowledge and skills around research-based practices. In this FREE Friday, Aug. 10th (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) workshop, you will learn some of the latest research on child development, quality care environments, and principles that support adult learning. You will explore and apply VLS resources including structures that support staff members' application of practices, and supports available to coaches. You will identify the essential components of a practice-based coaching framework and how to apply them in your work with staff. This training is best suited to those who train, lead or coach teachers. Lunch is provided. Parking is available on 4th Street, Hamlet, 7th Avenue and Summit Street. Seating is limited.
