Erik Porfeli, professor of human development and family science, focuses his career on promoting positive human health and development and strengthening the fabric of our communities. He specializes in harmonizing and aligning resources and partnerships around a common mission. As one example, in his prior role as associate dean of community engagement and admissions for the Northeast Ohio Medical University, he headed an Ohio alliance of scientific, education, workforce and community partners.
