My years at Ohio State definitely influenced two major aspects of my profession: teaching and research. My teaching skills and knowledge improved because I was taught and authentically assessed on the current global trends and issues in physical education. My research background was built upon theory and practice through reflections of academic work, collaboration with faculty and cohorts' projects, and completion of my own studies. I could not attain all this knowledge without a consistent assistance of dedicated and competent faculty. Ohio State provides graduate students with opportunities to be thinkers, doers and contributors in Physical Education Teacher Education.Carla Vidoni, PhD, 2005
