International Students

Degree Programs

Students from around the world are enrolled in the College of Education and Human Ecology. Prospective students can learn about the majors and programs we have available. Interested applicants should apply through Ohio State's online portal for Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions.

International Programs works to coordinate complex admissions case, such as sponsored students, students enrolled in dual degree programs, or conditional admissions to lead to an admission decision. Applicants can contact us if they are in these categories.

Learning English

Applicants to Ohio State degree programs must have at least 79 on the ibt or 7.0 on the ielts. Some degree programs may list a higher standard. Faculty may use test scores as a factor in making an admission decision to competitive programs.

Individuals can seek admission to the American Language Program at Ohio State. This program supports students in learning English. During their participation in the program, some applicants seek admission to Ohio State, others seek admission to other universities, and others return home.

Learning English overseas

Ohio State is piloting a program to offer three week intensive English Language courses, including English test preparation in partnership countries. These currently include China, Indonesia, and Turkey. Contact us to learn more.
