No second place for Minagawa; she takes first with top GPA

Of the 60 Buckeyes named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team for fall sports, one-third are majoring in College of Education and Human Ecology degree programs.

Junior Minori Minagawa of Dublin, Ohio, maintained a 4.0 grade-point average in Exercise Science. For the second year in a row, the cross country runner was one of only two Ohio State autumn athletes to maintain a 4.0. Only 26 men and women across the entire Big Ten conference maintained the highest average.

The student athletes compete in field hockey, football, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball.
